An Ancient Greek sapphic love story.

As the youngest child and only daughter of an Athenian politician, Acantha knew she was never going to have much of a choice in how her life went. When she was twelve years old, her father married her off to a colleague of his almost five times her age. Since then, she's been nothing but berated and abused by her husband, expected to bear him children against her will.
Danae is a child of Sparta- a tough warrior taught never to submit or back down. Men have tried to court her, but they all walk away disappointed. However, after an incident with one of the men, her father strongarms her into a year in Athens to 'learn her place'. She is none too happy about this, until she meets Acantha.

A goddess is taken to the underworld as the king's bride; her father knew everything and her mother knew nothing. In this retelling of the Hymn of Demeter, mother and daughter will do whatever it takes to free themselves, no matter the cost. Book I of The Triple Moons' Chronicles * Up in the sky, in a world between myths and lies, lives a daughter caged on an island. She is Persephone. The beautiful Persephone, whom every Olympian god wants to marry-they all want her beauty to conceal their ugliest secrets, but only Hades manages to take her to his realm. He dwells below the earth, across the river Styx, between Tartarus and the Isle of Blest. No mortals can see his forbidden land until they pass away. Forced into marriage by her father Zeus, Persephone would resign from her fate. But when her grieving mother, Demeter, comes close to killing all the mortals, Zeus orders her back to her homeland. Given and returned against her will, Persephone takes charge of her life and eats six pomegranate seeds before leaving. Food from the underworld can't be eaten as it will tie one to the land. As her decision pushes her closer together and apart from her loved ones, Persephone's destiny turns worse. Only she may have the power to change her world for the better. *** CW: While written in a lyrical style, this story is advised for mature audiences only. Amarédasse, Daughter of Poseidon by RomancticPrincess
27 parts Complete
Prophesied at birth that she would defeat Poseidon's last remaining enemy once she reached the age of eighteen, Amarédasse has been kept virtually a prisoner in her own home and unaware of the prophecy by orders of her father, Poseidon, while her older brothers and sisters enjoy the freedom that she craves. One day, just before her eighteenth birthday, Amarédasse inadvertently discovers a secret passageway while exploring the palace basement with her cousins, Hebe and Makaria. Once the young mermaid princess uses the passageway to escape she begins to explore the outside world and she comes across a human kingdom whose patron god is none other than her own father. As Amarédasse explores the kingdom she then unknowingly meets its Crown Prince and falls deeply in love with him she is unaware that her father's enemy is watching her every move waiting for an opportunity to strip her of her life. Will Poseidon trust his daughter with the truth and tell her why he kept her locked up her whole life? Will Amarédasse fulfill the prophecy and bring the Golden Age back to all humans and merfolk? Will Amarédasse and her prince live happily ever after like her parents? Read and find out. I dedicate this sequel to my Poseidon fanfiction story to the creator of the Sims 3 machinima trilogy VanityMovies and the entire cast. Yeah, I painted the cover although even I have to admit I'm not much of an artist and I'm still learning how to work that thing.

The Professor and I

37 parts Complete Mature

"Fuck, why do you always make things so hard Rayne?" he stood there with an intense frown on his face. "What do you mean Spencer?" I crossed my arms. "You always run away," he now held a sad face. I was hesitant. "We both know this will never work let alone the consequences" He walked closer and lifted my chin, forcing me to look at him. "I could care less about the damn outcome." he made direct eye contact with me. "I- I think I fucking love you." Rayne has always been the golden child of the family, always tamed but not yet impressed with the opening of her life. Spencer is just an average professor (you'd think) Spencer loves teaching and helping people grow but yet he's so mysterious when he's off campus. ***NEEDS MAJOR EDITING***
