My eyes widened, but I quickly composed myself.
"Wh-what? N-no, of course not!" I stammered, my voice wavering, and I am sure my cheeks are flushed. "Don't flatter yourself." I looked everywhere but him.
He stepped closer towards me. "Are you sure?"
I was a blushing mess but pulled up my confidence ass face "Yup 100 percent."
"Huh. Lying, aren't we?" His usual smirk was still there. Holy mother of weasel cart, can the universe just swallow me?
