He was short and chubby, with a mop of brown hair that seemed to fly around his head. In the past, he would have gone unnoticed and unseen but now he needed power. Power with royals and their supporters, power with the common folk, that he had earned in the last war. And now he had power with the army. Every soldier saw and knew their rightful king. Every knight was knighted by his hands. There was no hiding now.
'' YOU!'' The man seemed to be now shouting at a maid in the corner. She had a loose blonde bun and dirt on her chin. Her eyes were downcast and scared. ''What on earth are you doing?'' The man shouted down at her. ''The prince is holding his saddle!''
What a lazy swine. His mind went sour, something about her was so very familiar. The way that swine talked to the maid boiled his blood.
