When the dragon came, her only life was destroyed. Leaving her with a scar to remember. When even her own kind refused to help, she was infuriated. So she embarks on the quest to help her "brother", Thorin to reclaim Erebor. Both share a hate for the elves that betrayed them.

Still plagued with the past, she changes nothing. Only when she reveals her true appearance does a knife twist in his heart. She looks like her. But could never be her.

Fate's dark design gives them both a second chance at love. Even the dwarves are rooting for a romance. It may hurt them both, or heal the holes in their hearts. They say elves only love once. But that may change.

The King's Lady | Thranduil x OC
This story contains mature content/sexual scenes due to the nature of the plot. ----- It had been many years since the King had thought about taking another to his bed. He suffered many long, lonely nights without his beloved Queen until, after his son leaves him, he cannot handle the silence and he finds himself seeking something in the arms of another. When Eirien finds herself summoned to the King's chambers out of the blue, she is more than a little confused, but finds herself more than happy to serve her King despite the cost to herself. The biggest rule the King has for this arrangement is to not fall in love with him and it seems such an easy thing to just agree. The Queen may be dead and gone but they are still married and he will always love her, always be bound to her and Eirien knows this... but the more time she spends in his company, the more she gets to actually know him, the more she begins to realise that she has already fallen too deep. As time continues to pass and Mirkwood continues to darken, the threat of Mordor creeping ever closer, Eirien finds herself at a complete loss. If she confesses, she will lose him for good, but if she keeps quiet, she will only further torment her already broken heart.

Like with famine I thought I could starve it just long enough until I could forget it was ever there. I eventually found my home and my saviour in darkness. I found hope in a shadow so black that even the darkest night seemed a bright contrast to it. I was alone so long, I forgot what it meant to mean something to someone. I had been out in the cold so long, I forgot what it felt like to feel another person's warmth. I made many mistakes in my life and as darkness took a hold of me I was ready to make so many more, until one day someone proved to me there was still another way. Without a word to anyone, not even her overprotective father, she ran away from home to join the Company of Thorin Oakenshield. After all, it was only to help them reclaim Erebor. Little did she know, a certain blond haired dwarf would come into her life and change it. Being the next in line for the throne after his uncle, Fili had a duty. He had to fight by his uncle's side to reclaim Erebor, their home. That was it. The last thing he expected from joining the quest was meeting an elf maiden and falling for her more and more with each passing day. But there was one problem: Thorin hated elves. There was no way in hell that he was going to allow his heir to fall for one. *All characters belong to J.R.R Tolkien. All rights reserved to him. Alithia is the only one I created. The Mermaid's Forgotten Love (Legolas love story)
Artemis that's my name. A Long long time ago a young elf prince gave it to me. He was the crowned elf prince of Mirkwood. His name Legolas he was a very kind young elf. I had saved him from drowning when he was only 10, well looked 10 anyway. Since he is an elf they age very slowly just like my kind. After I saved his life that day he wouldd often come see me. Each day just to learn about me and my race. Since we'll, im a mermaid. I'm the last of my kind. He and I grew up together and my feelings for him became one of love over time. I loved him but it was dangerous for me because mermaids can only love once. If my heart breaks it will turn to stone and stop beating, it will grow old and cold and it will stop and never start again. My body will live but it would be a shell of a mer. One day Legolas had come to see me by the river, he told me about a young she-elf named Tauriel. He told me about how he had feelings for her and how amazing she was. My heart hurt at those words. He had fallen for another. That day I told him I loved him and that I would never forget him. Then I grabbed his face with my hands and kissed him. When I kissed him a tear slid down my cheek, when it hit the ground it turned into a white pearl. I kissed him because I loved him but when I kissed him I took away every memory of him and myself. I let go and put my necklace around his neck. It was a green stone with markings on it. We called it our hearts we would give it to the ones we love. I looked at him one last time before jumping back into the water leaving the one I love.Complete
