Far away, long ago
Glowing dim as an ember
Things my heart used to know
Things it yearns to remember
And a song someone sings
Once upon a December...

~

When the dragon came, her only life was destroyed. Leaving her with a scar to remember. When even her own kind refused to help, she was infuriated. So she embarks on the quest to help her "brother", Thorin to reclaim Erebor. Both share a hate for the elves that betrayed them.

~

Still plagued with the past, she changes nothing. Only when she reveals her true appearance does a knife twist in his heart. She looks like her. But could never be her.

~

Fate's dark design gives them both a second chance at love. Even the dwarves are rooting for a romance. It may hurt them both, or heal the holes in their hearts. They say elves only love once. But that may change.

Long had the Valar watched the ages pass - the glory of the Two Trees, the fall of Númenor, the countless wars that scarred the lands. Though heroes rose, darkness always returned, and the hearts of Elves, Men, and Dwarves grew divided. The Valar yearned for balance once more, but Ilúvatar forbade their hand from shaping mortal fate. Thus, they sought another way - a vessel of light, pure and untamed, to rekindle harmony within Arda. Their gaze pierced beyond the circles of the world and fell upon a distant realm - a modern age, where steel replaced stars and faith waned. Yet in that world lived Aurora Delane, a woman of boundless kindness. Even in sorrow, she brought warmth. Even in despair, she believed in light. Her compassion healed wounds no magic could touch. When her mortal life ended in peace, surrounded by those she had loved and uplifted, Nienna wept for her - and hope stirred once more. The Valar gathered in silent accord. From their divine breath, Aurora's soul was reborn as Liora Vanythar, the Chosen of the Valar. Raised under their care, she learned the wisdom of Manwë, the gentleness of Yavanna, and the courage of Oromë. The winds carried her laughter, the waters mirrored her kindness, and all of Arda felt her coming like dawn breaking after endless night. She was not sent to rule, nor to smite the shadows, but to remind every heart - Elf, Dwarf, or mortal - that unity is strength, and love is light everlasting. In her eyes, the Valar saw what they had long forgotten: hope is not divine, but human. And in her heart burned the eternal truth - that peace, though fragile, is always worth fighting for. (I don't owned The Hobbit & LOTR nor the characters except my Oc's.)
