What is meditation to you? How do you know if you are meditating? Does it have benefits that could apply to your life?
Based on my experience, I define meditation as any practice where you focus your conscious awareness on a single object, and that object can be anything you perceive-your breath, a sound, a visualization, or even the sensations in your body. As you deepen this practice, you begin to quiet the constant stream of thoughts that often occupy your mind. When those thoughts settle, something extraordinary happens: your focus sharpens, and your awareness expands. You might even find yourself perceiving the subtle, mystical dimensions of existence that are otherwise hidden in the noise of daily life.
In this book, you'll get a behind the scenes look at how your favorite characters were born, my creative process, and the dirty details never before revealed.
