In an alternate universe where Captain Curly's troubled younger brother, Scottie, relunctantly joins the crew on the voyage, drama, romance, violence and stress give Scottie an overcoming feeling of self doubt.

Scottie, a timid young criminal, faced with the choice between prison or cleaning toilets on his brothers vessel, discovers dark secrets involving a sweet female crewmate and a shady higher up on the vessel, tries his best to keep people calm after a devastating crash and tries to leave his past behind.

This dark story introduces a new perspective from the eye of someone who so desperately wants to do the right thing, but is cornered by threats of violence and trying to fit in with everyone on board the Tulpar.

Meanwhile, Captain Rod Yorke of the Asetoria is trying his best to make it to save the crew, but struggles to understand any moral meaning to his task.

And back on earth, Chris tries to take control of his life, in anticipation of Scottie's return.
