The year is 2124.
America, and the whole world at that, has lost all order. Gangs form across the country, the two strongest known respectively as Jupiter's Twelve and The Greeks. There has been a turf war brewing for three years, and recently, it came to a head.
Perseus Jackson, leader of The Greeks, has a grave in a shithole in Las Vegas.
Nico di Angelo, known as the Shadow of Death and the leader of Jupiter's Twelve, killed him.
And now there's someone after him. Someone who Nico describes to his second-in-command and sister, Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano, as none other than "an obsessive glowstick".
The winner of this turf war is unclear. But with The Greeks still in Manhattan and Jupiter's Twelve hiding out in San Francisco, mind games have started to become vital. So have important prisoners.
And Nico has an opportunity to get such an important prisoner -- namely, the aforementioned obsessive glowstick that just can't seem to leave him alone.

Nico di Angelo is a forensic pathologist, well, training to be one. He spends his days examining dead bodies and learning how they died. Pretty cool, right? Will Solace is training to be a nurse. His goal is to prevent as many bodies from needing to be examined as possible. He wanted to save people. When these two move in together, many adventures follow, because honestly, what else can you expect when two complete opposites try to coexist? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. What if our favorites demigods went to sleep one night, just to wake up in another reality? One where there are no demigods, no prophecies, where they didn't even like each other? Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). Almost thirty years have passed since the second Titan War. At least, that's what everyone keeps telling Bianca. She doesn't quite understand what the second Titan War is- or was, for that matter- or why it's important. Bianca doesn't understand a lot of things. For example: why she is just now realizing that her parents were demigods- children of the Greek gods themselves- and she's what people at camp call a "legacy." She also doesn't understand why her Aunt Piper practically tossed her into a car with two men she's never met and shipped her off to this aforementioned camp. They joined the search for Percy and helped the seven. They went to find the doors of death in Tartarus together. After the war with Gaia she convinced her brother to stay, with the help of a certain son of Apollo. She is happy for her twin and is happy to know that she has love like that as well. She currently attends Highschool in New York. The seven plus Nico, Thalia, Reyna , Jo and Will meet up for a long weekend of fun every 2 months. But obviously not all good things last forever...
