Unable to bear the guilt and unable to see the pain and suffering of Gauri ,Shivaay sends her to London for higher studies.After 5 years she returns,but the scenario that is prevailing in the family is totally different after she comes back.Her happy family had turned into a sad dysfunctional one .
Her brother in laws and had immersed themselves in work and her sister in laws hardly found time to talk to each other.
With all these chaos prevailing will Gauri be able to regain her old family back...or will she accept her fate as it is...

It's a mob family, it will affect the story, but that's about it 2. Italics represent past conversations and internal conversations. 3. We wouldn't see much of Oberoi family as the story revolves around Shivaay being the one without parents and siblings and Annika with the mafia family.
