Kai's parents have been kidnapped by Krux and Acronix but Kai doesn't know it yet since Krux is disguised as Kai's father Ray. Krux has made Kai and Nya believe that he really is their father.

He liked it, it helped the ninja a lot. Cole was stronger than he ever was before. And now he's their biggest target ..... In this story, Cole must face the Queen of Ghouls, otherwise the Realm of Ninjago will fall into the hands of Evil...
