Dory's life is a cycle of her mum's drunken episodes and dreams of an escape she can't afford. But when she stumbles upon a bag of money in the trunk of a stranger's car, everything changes. With her new friends-charismatic Rachel and effortlessly cool Felix-Dory begins to believe that maybe she can make it out.

But the money isn't free. The rightful owner knows what she took-and they want it back. Dory must decide: can she trust her friends, her feelings, and herself, or will her shot at freedom come at too high a price?
