Loomis is a 20-year-old Umbreon in a brand-new environment: college. Work is no problem for this 5'4" emo guy, but socializing is on a whole other level. Loomis finds himself struggling immensely when he has to share a dorm room with Kairo, a 21-year-old, 6'4" tall Miraidon, who is muscular, outgoing, friendly, and openly gay. Loomis is the exact opposite, with his shy, anxious, and depressive demeanor. The Umbreon has every reason to behave the way he does, however, with his painful past, his heart has twisted with thorns.

Kairo just wants to befriend Loomis, even more so that they share a dorm room and are both majoring in music, but how accepting will the Umbreon be of his advances? Will he ever be able to break down his walls? Can Kairo free Loomis of his past?
