It's been over two months since the Return of Gems from space, and Lapis Lazuli and Jasper are stuck at the bottom of the ocean, Lapis staying there to keep Steven safe. But what Lapis forgot, was a Gem on Homeworld, waiting for her to return. Her name was Aquamarine, a gem from the water. Knowing Lapis since they were both created, Aquamarine longed for the day when Lapis would return home, unknowing she was trapped in a mirror. Finally, when Lapis returned to homeworld, Aquamarine rejoiced. But when Lapis was forced to go to earth with Jasper and Peridot, Aquamarine followed. Now on Earth, Aqua is on the run from the Homeworld and looking for Lapis, and finding Steven Universe instead. Will Aquamarine help the Crystal Gems find the two missing gems in the ocean, or will Aquamarine take them down with her.

THIS STORY IS COMPLETED. (yayahhh) Okay, so I'm just... trying to write a fanfiction, okay? About Lapis Lazuli and Peridot and Jasper and... eh... what happened on that big hand-ship before the Crystal Gems crashed it. (This story ends near the end of the episode Jail Break) I'm keeping this child-friendly. None of what I consider cursing is in this book. And it's just friendship. And forgiveness. It might be a bit of a sad story, maybe... but anyway, it's not romantic love-stuff. And there might be a little violence because – y'know – Jasper's in the book. But not too bad. I try to keep the characters, well, in character, but I probably didn't succeed. Includes some of my own theories about Yellow Diamond and Homeworld; not everything in this story is canon. The cover art is by me. The pictures on the separate chapters are screenshots/gifs from the show itself. All characters in this book so far belong to Steven Universe, the TV show. It was tough work healing all of Beach City. From the land to the settlements, all that was wrecked has now been rebuilt stronger and better than ever. But despite the prosperity, Steven misses Spinel more than he'll ever admit. Eventually, he's had enough and decides to go visit her on Homeworld. The question is though, is this feeling due to being separated from a new friend or is it fact something much deeper? Steven must find out soon because no adventure for him is without conflict and some such conflict is lurking around waiting to strike when he least expects it. Consequences
Steven, Homeworld, Danger... Diamonds... Those words don't sound too comforting together, right? Who said this was a comforting story? For Steven and the gems, things finally don't go right. When Steven is separated from Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl during the attempt to retrieve his father from the zoo, he is found, and quickly identified as a rose quartz gem... and not just any, but the rebellion leader's own son. Blue and Yellow Diamond create a master plan to finally eliminate the Crystal Gems, and Steven is the key to doing so. All they have to do is play a game of emotions, and things will soon fall into their hands, due to a very unlikely snitch. Will Steven be able to resist the Diamonds and escape, or will Steven's Universe crumple because of himself? (Rated T, to be on the completely safe side, but I seriously doubt there will be anything too bad in my fanfiction, as I am trying to make it as close to the style of the show as possible! Imagine Beach City. A normal city, normal people, normal society, a normal school. Or, at least, one can only assume so. Some might say that their school is abnormal because of the people in it. When we use the word "abnormal" to describe Beach City Middle School, we aren't lying. As gems, Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, Steven, and all the others have a bit of a hard time living normal lives. Whether they're respected or picked on because of their appearance, they all manage to get through... Most of it. The crystal gems, trying to hide their secrets to avoid further investigation, Steven and Connie, trying to live life to the fullest, Lapis and Peridot, trying to uncover as many secrets as possible, and Jasper and her gang, trying to be the best and most loved- and feared. Status:finished Ah, Lapis Lazuli. A beautiful gem with a kind, fun heart. You never thought you'd understand the human emotion 'happiness' until you met Lapis. You never thought you'd understand any 'emotion', to be honest. Up until now, you just couldn't understand. You didn't understand fusions and emotions. You had spent a eternity serving Yellow Diamond as a entertainer. Despite not understanding emotions, you loved her. She was your Diamond and no matter how much abuse she hurled at you, you had loved her more than anything.. Then she handed you down to her sister, Pink Diamond. Even though it had hurt you that she abandoned you, you had still thought things would be fine.. Until one day, people realized you were broken. They found out that you didn't understand fusing or emotions and said "well, as a entertainer you need to understand the acts you're performing! And a entertainer should be happy! It's part of their job! It's all a Tanzanite is!" And were going to shatter you.. Or so they thought. This story takes place sometime when season 5 is nearing it's end (I do not own the art used in the book. All rights go to the creators of the artwork.) (All rights to characters go to Rebecca Sugar.
