Riley's past isn't something most kids go through. Bad things happened, but when she got older, her dad decided it was best to move, and get away from something that seemed to haunt Riley. They moved from Arizona to California. About 1/4 into her junior year, Riley had to go to a new school, and make new friends. She didn't really care about having friends though, as long as she was able to play soccer, she would be okay. Soccer had always been there for her, when her mom died, when she didn't have anyone else, when she was in a bad mood. It was always there for her to play. She didn't need anyone else. That changed when she met Brooke Eckmann. Brooke is also a junior in high school, and is the varsity teams goalie. When they first meet on the field, it was something different. She couldn't stop thinking about her. It was something both of them had never felt before. Riley Daniels isn't your normal girl but no one remember the normal girls that blend into the background. For starters her two best-friends are her twin brother Thomas and their friend Luke. The second thing about Riley is that she plays football and is a receiver. Also she doesn't have parents and lives with Thomas and Luke. When you are the first female footballer your school has since you don't have a lot of friends. For starters the Coach hates her and so does the cheerleaders but they have since she started school. Riley acts like a cheerful person but truthfully she is building up wall to push everyone way because she knows things that she hasn't ever told anyone else.
