I wrote this a few months ago. It's not much and I don't intend on finishing it. But maybe peeps will see what I'm capable of and come back for more? 

In this scene, Caroline Austin, a soldier in the 22 century, wakes up from a nightmare. Her husband and partner, comforts her. They are then alerted by a floor overseer of pending danger. Can't tell ya what's attacking their unit, but I will say that it's big, burly, slobbery, and not human.

This is all written by me. MINE! The pics of landscape are mine the rest I googled. When the female silhouette walked out from the shadows shock and fear rolled off me. It was her, the evil woman from my nightmares! With her walking towards us I could feel how evil she was. That's weird, I can feel her evil, how? When Lachlan called her his beloved my heart shattered. Lachlan and the woman who is Gilda his beloved, locked eyes. A heavy weight seemed like it was crushing me. I was suffocating. I had to get out of there and away from her, from them. Lachlan is a 962 year old vampire that is tired of being alone in a world full of humans. Going to extremes to not be alone. After another failed attempt has him running in frustration where he stumbles on a scent he has to find. He's wishing for death, and having no regard for life when he smells the most wonderful smell. He follows the smell and He finds a 5 year old little girl and he's hungry! And then his heartbeats 💗 for the first time in hundreds of years, since he was turned, why??? Why did the Vampires heartbeat 💓? He's determined to find out. Ava is a 5 year old little girl living with her grandmother in a small Missouri town. On her way to the pool for her swimming lessons she notices a stranger. Ava being the sweet little girl that she is offers the stranger help. Give it a chance please!!! There are different time periods through out the story and I tried to choose music for those time periods that reflect upon the chapter. Please constructive criticism only, negative mean people can kick rocks. Warning ⚠️ ⚠️ Adult language, Adult content, violence, abuse. The MC's relationship is bxg, interracial relationships in the story. I am beyond racial or sexual orientation FYI. ⚠️There are some religious references. You would usually see her wearing sweats around the house or outside in her backyard on the beach since she lives on the ocean. So when she suddenly gets kidnapped one day, she wonders what she had ever done to deserve this. She hadn't done anything wrong, at least she didn't think she did. But she learns that there is something about her that is special and that she is not only human. Meet Jared Gray, the person that kidnapped Isabelle because of her being his mate. He's been waiting since he was 16 to find his mate and now he's 22, about to give up on ever finding his mate. But when he smells her in a mall one day, he follows her home and decides to take what's his. Isabelle's life will never be the same again.
