"Peace cannot be found without having gone through conflict and conflict cannot be noticed without having been in peace." Harry murmured as they look up at the stars above.
"So this is why you feel like this war is normal?" Draco asked, not letting Harry leave his sight.
"And it's why you miss the way it was" Harry sighed before looking back at Draco, staring into his light blue eyes.
"I guess we're like Peace and Conflict, we cannot exist without each other even though we're on opposite sides"
"Except we are on the same side.."

Quick summary:
Harry and Draco get to know each other through the goblet of fire era. Everything going through the og events except tiny twists. Ending with Harry revealing a big twist when he runs to hug Voldemort instead of run from him. Voldemort had never died, the spell bounced off Harry and onto another death eater. Voldemort got intrigued and just went "yup I'm adopting you" except he turned Harry into his first ever Horcrux before hiding away, keeping contact with Harry through their connection. Building a father son relationship while still telling him actual stories about James and how he would've been a good father.
In the order of the phoenix, Harry gets re-sorted into Slytherin as the daily prophet calls him a murderer and new dark lord. Harry loses himself as he walks down the dark path. His mind set going from "I have to prove I'm innocent" to "I'll be the villain they want me to be".
Eventually watching as his godfather dies and turns into a murderer and loses himself completely. He stays with Voldemort at the Malfoy manor for the summer. But he's hidden away from Draco most of the time.
In the half-blood Prince, Harry reveals to a bunch of people that he sees Voldemort as his father (without replacing James) by shouting out "dad" to Voldemort. Blah blah stuff happens. Yippee!
