I was tired, tired of running, hiding, lying. He had his sights set on me, I didn't know why. He was dark, it was a dark that drew me in. He took me, not giving me a choice. He used me, I fought back. They say "secrets don't make friends," Maybe they create something more.. ---------- A story filled with hate, love, and darkness. Katarina is powerful, she knows it, and some how so does he. She has spent a few lifetimes running from the man in her horrifying past. She is broken down and tired, but she carries on, only wanting a normal life. Love doesn't exist in her world, only fighting for her survival and to stay hidden. Jaxon is a dark, mysterious and also extremely powerful. He is the leader of the highest vampire gang and is strongly determined to keep it that way. He sees Katarina one day and is infatuated by her beauty and later finds out just how much power she holds. He sees her as a power that will make his gang indestructible.
