Destined By Fate
Kendall has always lived a quiet life in a small town in Illinois with her family, friends, and boyfriend Jordan. Her life had been mostly happy other than when her best friend moved away when she was 10. It took her years to get over that loss. As he catches up to me, he grabs my arm swings me around and with one swift movement he ushers me into a nearby empty classroom with the lights off. He cages me in against the wall. You drive me wild and no one else can have you." He says as he attacks my lips. It feels so amazing I can't help but kiss him back. I run my hands through his beautiful hair and he groans into the kiss. Man I don't want this to ever end. I feel drunk on him. I don't think I can let him go. He stops suddenly to finish his thoughts. "No one can make you feel like this. Or kiss you here...." He says as he kisses down my neck. I moan and he smirks pulling his face impossibly close to mine. "..or touch you." He says as he takes his hand and brushes it lightly down my arm and he snakes it back around my back pulling me even closer if that is possible. I lean into him, our lips not even an inch apart. "Sophia we shouldn't..." He looks hesitant. "Please, I need you." I almost started crying. "Please." I mutter one more time, my eyes begging for him. This is a collection of my writing from the past 7 years. Before I started to write, I was a very lost individual, as are most teens, but I was lost in darkness. I was too afraid to move anywhere at all. I hid in the dark, debilitated by my own anxiety, sadnesses, anger, and hopelessness. I was desperate to be loved and feared it the most, I was a coward, I was self-destructive, I would mentally bend my thoughts to the point of bordering insanity. I was born into this world alone, and got too comfortable with it. Maybe I still am, but a fraction of what I used to be. This writing is extremely vulnerable, and potentially disturbing to others, as all my weaknesses, strengths, obsessions with making every moment sentimental, the sickening desperation I've had, the destructiveness, and the constant brutal reconstruction of my mind. Without guidance, it's been absolute intense chaos. Though, there is beauty in the darkness. Everything can be found in the darkness. You'll find that through my writing, I've somehow slowly become exactly what I've written. A living representation of my writing and what I wanted to be. Without myself even knowing it. A lot of my writing themes are based around nature, or some kind of natural aspect. The imagery I paint with natural metaphors is constant, the animals, just like you and I, the plants, and all other living things. I planted these seeds in my mind, unknowingly at the time, where I now feel the deep dark green jungle pressing at the inner walls of my skull. It's all that I want to consume my mind. There's so much to learn. The magic of nature, and it's infinite wisdom. It's as if I have been on this path all along, and I didn't even know what I was doing, yet my body and mind were passively taking care of me. Giving me and eventually showing exactly what I want, and wanted to become. I have every moment, every instance of suffering, and every epiphany to be thankful for. This book is Completed --------------(student/teacher) "What if I told you he can't make you feel as good as I can?" Before I know it he pulls me into him. When his lips touch mine my first instinct is to kiss him back. His lips are so soft as they expertly move on mine. Mr. Morgan's hand moves to the back of my neck for better access as I run my fingers through his hair. He groans softly in my mouth as we continue our kiss. I feel like electricity is shooting through my whole body, begging me for more. Mr. Morgan seems to understand this need as his other hand grabs my waist and pulls me to him. I'm in a daze, drinking in his touch, his lips, his tongue as it meets my own. I've never been kissed this way, so hungry and passionate. A moan escapes my lips as Mr. Morgan presses me against the nearest wall, he moves down as he kisses my neck. His moves are desperate, enticing, it draws me in like a moth to the flame. Then I remember that he's my teacher, and I'm his student, and I have a boyfriend... ------------------------------------ Livia has it all great boyfriend, great friends, and a new teacher. The miracle is present, next to and within you. The miracle is you. When you write poetry you hide in a bottle a message written on paper. Then you ship it in the ocean and you let it travel across the world. One day, somebody may graciously find it below a steep rock on the beach and be curious enough to open it. Then he will read the message enclosed. For poetry time is irrelevant and to be specific this poetry has defied time and difficulties. The first chapter 'Crash the Idols' is a sociological approach in the poetry of the dogma, VERITAS (Latin meaning of truth), and images that society encourages people to believe. Are these true, do they have any meaning at all? Or they are just hallucinations of the society of consumption? The second chapter 'The transformations of Vishnu' is a reference to the changes of Vishnu into different forms and existences according to Indian scripts. We are subject to a continuous and ruthless change, since the time we were born. This change is considered a determining factor of survivorship. The 'Myth story of an adventurer' is wandering in the ascetic communities of Mount Athos with a history of more than 1000 years. The incessant seeking of light and freedom is a driving force of interpreting modern life with a more charismatic byzantine approach, in regards to philosophy and theology. 'Dialogues of Despair' is a modern song of songs, where contradictory powers clash and the winner is thirst. Thirst for life and Thirst for Knowledge. Thirst of Love and Thirst for Sacrifice. 'The Silent Time of mysticism' is about the inexplicable echo of our memories, our faith, our emotions, and death right in the corner.
