The Darkness of Beasts and Men
This is a short story about a young man and an incident he (somewhat) overcomes. This is a werewolf story, yes, but not a cliche-d one I hope, as it includes much more unhappiness and gore and such. There is no swearing, no nasty in-bed stuff, but there is gore. I mean, animal-mauling-blood-everywhere gore. Sorry, but in a werewolf reality, it would be rather dark and disturbing. If you do not like those things, please do not read for your own sake. Other than that, mild humor included. No idea if I'm going to write another story with the same sort of people or not, so I will get back to you later about that. Anyways, have fun and good luck. All characters' names and characteristics and fiction, I did not take them directly off somebody, so in cases of coincidence where you or someone you know looks like a character, my apologies, but I swear I didn't look up people and write their description. Nobody knows that he has a mate, and nobody will know.... Until his mate's 16th birthday. Or will he tell someone? Will someone figure it out? What will happen when Kyle finds his mate? Will Jordan be rejected? Will Kyle finally be happy? Will Kyle and Jordan's past come back to haunt them or make them happy? And who are the mysterious Royal Twins that only want their mates? Adelaide meets her mate on the day she turns eighteen. However, she has a secret that no one knows about, not even her best friend. How long will she be able to keep this secret from her mate? And what will happen when he finds out? *** I never heard him make a sound, so his voice makes me jump as I hear him say "I can smell him on you" from right behind me. I turn around and dread fills me as I look into his dark eyes. They're glowing from the light from the fridge. I stumble over my thoughts but manage to squeak out "I thought you were out on a mission for your Alpha?" "I finished, and now I'm back." His eyes boring a hole through my head. "And I can tell that you've been slutting it up" he says with a look that makes me tremble. I start to shake my head, to try and persuade him that I haven't been doing anything wrong, but he forcefully grabs my jaw and stops me from shaking it. "You really shouldn't lie to me Adelaide, now I'm just going to have to teach you a lesson" he spits out at me. *** This isn't you typical story about werewolves, but I love the idea of mates, so follow these young adults on their journey with a supernatural twist.Complete

Sequel to Alpha or Beta(Can be read without reading first book): Nine years have passed and Evelyn is now the narrator: I'm the only one. Ralf was the first of us to shift. He said it hurt at first, but now the feeling of going back and forth between werewolf and human is amazing. Rosie said she can feel the change coming soon. The rest of them are changing as well. Then there's me. I'm the only one who can't shift. I reach up and grab the white strands of hair that curse my body. My ability to shift into a wolf has been ripped from me and soon everyone will know that I'm different. That scares me. Honestly, I want to be able to shift so badly, but the only way I can do that is if Gloria gives me back my ability that she stole. Yeah, like that's going to happen, we haven't seen her since she took it from me. Well it's my junior year of school and I won't be able to find my mate because I don't have my inner wolf. I wonder if I even have a mate. Kari says it could be possible that I don't have one, but I know I do. I just know I do. Who knows, he might even be one of the guys around me now. I just hope I will be able to sense him and understand that he is my mate. I guess I will just have to keep an eye out and hopefully, I will know.Complete
