When Severus Snape was sent by Dumbledore to pick up Harry Potter from his relatives, the summer before Harry's 5th year at Hogwarts, he was ready for an encounter with the teen's grandparents and then with the spoiled brat himself. Only when Petunia opened the door, instead of Margurite Evans or Euphemia Potter did he realise there is a lot he doesn't know about the life of The-Boy-Who-lived.
What will happen when the two discover they share a bond stronger than life itself, marked by identical lightning scars - Harry's scar gracing his forehead and Severus's hiding under his right sleeve? How would the unconventional duo prevail through the cruel reign of Dolores Umbridge? What will happen when Harry learns the truth about his parents' nonexistent love?
