Xia became famous for her yellow fire, not nearly as dangerously hot as Azula's blue fire, but a warmth that fuels Xia's will. Though Xia was close friends with Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee, she volunteered to accompany Zuko and Iroh on their hunt to find the Avatar. Calm and patient Xia became Zuko's new sparring partner, and Iroh's favorite Pai Sho challenger. "How can you be drinking tea at a time like this?!" Zuko demanded. I looked at him as if surprised by his stupidity, "because I do not particularly like cold tea." A laugh followed my statement and we both turned to Iroh, "you see, Prince Zuko. The fire is unleashed. It happened long before Kaen's birth, but now you could see it everywhere. Villages burned down, citizens of every Nation got captured and died like flies, but even though everyone noticed it, no one did anything against it. Hope is lost. around 97 years ago the Avatar vanished. He left and with it took the hope of the citizens of all nations with him. Hope that hasn't been restored up to this day. Hope is a funny thing. It can be taken away in an instant and be returned in the same moment. Or later. Or never. Kaen wasn't a simple girl. She was a fighter, a firebender. Even though she was a women, she learned to control her abilitys, and she was never alone. Her brother Daichi was a fighter too. Together with their best friend, Kairo, they were drafted to the army and split into two different training camps. Daichi was alone, but Kaen and Kairo had each other. After an incident they desided to flee out of the army. The didn't want to fight for something and someone they didn't like. Now they were dessertiers. But this wasn't enough for the two treenagers. The wanted to fight, and they did. For the freedom of the innocent For the freedom of the prisoners For the lives that had already been sacrificed And for some crazy reason hope wasn't lost completly. There was something, like a little flame, that with time grew bigger and bigger.

Fire is deadly and can leave a path of destruction along the way, fire can scar. But so can Water. Like Fire, water can freeze into ice and can leave many cuts and scars. Both can be deadly when misused. Water and Fire can't be too different. Or are they? Zuko is a fire bender, but not just any fire bender he is the son of the fire lord. Kadia is a water bender, the daughter of the village Chief. When events lead to Kadia being captured by the fire nation Prince she realises that although Fire and Water are often referred to as opposites, they might not be so different after all. Kadia learns to realises that the many lessons she learnt growing up where nothing but prejudice. Or where they? Can she get over her emotional scars and learn to heal? Or was everything she witnessed an elaborate act all along made by the fire prince and his uncle? An act to trick her in letting her guard down and betray her siblings and the Avatar. Will she be able to trust again or does this scar run too deep to heal? There is an old folklore about the Children of the Forest. They were mortal spirits who were the First Benders with the ability to travel freely to the spirit world and to the human realm. Each with their own element of air, water, earth and fire. They were one with their elemental animals and travelled the spirit and human realm freely. Fire Lord Azulon was one of the very few humans aware that this folklore was more than a mere legend, although slightly altered, but factual. He sought out dragons and in one of his searches he found a Child of the Forest with a Fire Element by sheer unfortunate luck and after defeating her, he imprisoned her. (Y/N) was seen as the key object of victory within the Fire Nation and a driving force of power to their legacy and supremacy but to Zuko she was not a weapon of mass destruction or a spirit creature; she was so much more. As the Sozins Comet approaches and the Avatar Aang prepares to face Firelord Ozai with the help of his friends, it's clear that Zuko and (Y/N)'s paths are more far apart than they know.
