The 141s Reaper (Simon Ghost Riley Romance)
The mission was to extract information from an agent in jungle. Drop in grab the info from the location and quickly and quietly move through the jungle to exfil. Easy in out intel mission. But... She was so quiet I didn't even hear her, next thing I know I have a gun to my temple and a set of eyes fixed on me. She took the information package and was gone in seconds. But those eyes, she saw right through me just as I did her. Those few moments felt like hours. I can't get those eyes out of my mind. Three hours later she's waiting for me at the exfil site. Our Conscious Fields; What is living?
Slow paced narrative set in a world awakened to panpsychism and innate abilities following the fall and rise of society. A gentle approach to world building with a bit of humor, romanticism, and just enough hints of drama without going into it. When everyone writes about how it could all go wrong or what happens after it does; who wants to read about what happens if it just goes right for once? Still conflict and drama but, the hard work is already done. Now you just get to see a glimpse of what happens in a reality where it all works out. Fortnite: Chapter 5-The Story Reimagined
THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. Follow the story of Hope, the sister of the leader of the evil Society, and Jonesy, an immortal warrior from realities far beyond, as they work to overthrow the Society's reign against impossible odds. This is heavily inspired by the lore shown in Fortnite, but with some creative tweaks. Character Development is a priority, as well as making sure villains are not just one-note. This depicts violence that the game could not. This is the saga of their story as I imagine it to be.
StarCraft - Survival
In a distant future where a handful of far-flung human colonies are lorded over by a bloated, inefficient government, something dark looms just over the galactic horizon. When Sergeant Dalton was dumped in the wastelands of a backwater colony world, he was happy to fade into obscurity. He'd fought for it all. For duty, for honor, for justice, for money. In the end, what did it matter? Now, bitter and broken, he wants to be left alone. But that all changes when he finds himself in the midst of an invasion from not one, but two brutal alien races. During the pandemonium, 17-year-old Caleb Morrow, a scrappy survivor from the ruins of Canada, is conscripted into the US military. Meanwhile, on the other side, Elena Morozova, an 18-year-old Russian conscript hailing from the ruins of Norway, ascends the ranks in the Russian military. As this conflict between the 2 last countries left spirals out of control, the past suddenly begins to rise from the ashes leaving questions to arise in the thoughts of many soldiers on both sides including Caleb and Elena that, if answered, reveals a dark and unsettling truth. Scarcity is a story of curiosity, critical thinking, corruption, and trust in a collapsing world. The Underground threaten the Society's existence and work from the shadow's to stop them, will they succeed? Follow the members of The Society through hardships, secrecy, betrayal, love, and war and see where their story ends... or is it just beginning? 15,000-20,000 words.
