Everything shifts when she meets Maverick Escarra, a classmate who brings warmth and color into her monochrome world, offering her a glimpse of life beyond her burdens. With him, Salomi experiences moments of freedom and joy, a temporary escape from her reality. However, one day, she is forced back into the harsh truth that her connection with Maverick is fleeting, a mere daydream. Salomi realizes she cannot run from the responsibilities and sacrifices that dominate her life, feeling as if she's trapped in a nightmare. This awakening leaves her questioning whether she will ever truly break free from the life written for her and if she can forge her own path amidst the expectations that weigh her down.
