He ruins everything. All the perfect life Annabeth set up for years is seemingly destroyed after this... kid shows up, and Annabeth does not like that. It was a downside of being a perfectionist.
But no matter how mean, or horrible or cold she acts with him, he always seems to just be more of a dick. No matter how much her friends told her he was cool or cute or whatever, Annabeth just wants this guy out of her life
