Having returned to Narnia after not a short a time, King Peter the Magnificent is reunited with his Zephyr bride, Elain. Though the Queen of the Zephyrs is still angry concerning his departure, they are reconciled. 

On the battlefield, Peter is rescued by a young Zephyr who dies in the attempt. After Aslan's return and the end of the Second Battle of Beruna, Elain tells Peter that he has a daughter. Lyra, the one he rescued.
