CHIVALRIC EMPIRE: SHADOWS AND COINS

Intro: Here in this mountainous region lived the wild but grand and prosperous city of Veno. The appearance was of the Gothic-Renaissance architecture, to stand simply as a balance between the old and the new world, acting harmoniously in its current period. After the Wars of Succession, a 200-year conflict of civil war between the previous Emperor's Ten heirs and their descendants who furthered it, the city has enjoyed a few centuries of calm peace. That peace was to soon be in jeopardy by the ambitions of two ancient yet prestigious families, as the quest for their ascension amongst peers threatens to bring the great ideals of chivalry every close to ruin. The foundations of all social orders would be rock violently by intrigue, murder, assissination, and war. Giving rise to creating a new conflict in their thirst for influence and power. The feuders are the Angevins and the Martels. I will share with you an account of my time with each family, the personal experience from interviews with their partners, neighbors and friends, and to know why all it had to end in bloodshed from these great houses. - Louise the Scribe.
