MELANCHOLY | Melancholy drips from my fingertips. SOON TO BE A PUBLISHED PAPERBACK. COMING 2025! This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly, you begin to forget I even exist. All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. Here, in the pages I find myself, in the ink that writes against my flesh, I will whisper the sadness, the heartache, and the decaying for all of the unspoken. Miranda McLain, a teenage whisked away by her mom to California to marry a man named Ronald Basil. Her Father left behind in her memory. Ronald unholy intensions towards the girl is not hidden. Her nightmare soon becomes reality, when her mother is declared pregnant. Bellamy Vonn, A toxic teenage boy who believes the only way to gain Miranda attention is through violence having been rejected by her once before. His is both loved and feared by his school, soon his convinced that what he has for Miranda is nothing but hate. Sadly, the music starts to change in her favour. Katie, daughter of Ronald Basil is beaten into coma. In Mid City High, fingers point to Bellamy. Threats are thrown around by the school board. Miranda is conflict morally on the grounds of Katie's condition. Having been at the receiving end of maltreatment. Beatrice Cane, a black energetic girl shows her there's more to life than survival. More and more, friendship and hate grow stronger only to soon leave everyone confused.
