A Buzz in the Air

Avery Lee feels there's nothing particularly special about her, and that's the way she prefers it. Among wrangling her 3 year old niece, playing therapist for her sister's failing relationship, and navigating the sheer intensity of high school, Avery's mental load is at its limit. To her, there's nothing more comfortable than retreating to a safe haven of quiet and stillness.

Then there's Nate, a thrill-seeker in constant motion. And as fate would have it, he lives just down the road. He has his own qualms, but that won't stop him from showing Avery she's a lot more special than she thinks.
