The Power of Friendship Bracelets

Elliot Shelton and Bailey Fiorentino were best friends since the kindergarten when she first moved to Green Gardens with her then married parents.

For a while they were inseparable, Elliot a joyous bubble of sunshine who was always dancing or singing or shining her light on everything she came into contact with, and Bailey who at the time was scared of his own shadow but unconsciously followed the bubbly girl to each adventure because that's what best friends did.

Then the summer of eighth grade approached and Elliot's parents got divorced whisking the girl a million miles away to Massachusetts to live with her mother and her four year old brother Erin, their eight years of friendship suddenly coming to a halt.

Four years later Elliot is forced to move back to the home she barely remembers, to live with her father the principal at her new school. Once again Bailey is thrown back into her life, although this times he's not the tiny boy afraid hiding in her shadow, but rather the most popular kid at Adeline High.

Through school projects, old songs, and new memories Elliot and Bailey rebuild their friendship this time, maybe even allowing themselves a chance at more.
