Norra Lannura was adopted and, while that might explain why she doesn't look like the rest of her family, it doesn't explain why she has never met anyone who looks like her. Compared to most Celembrians, she's tall, lanky, flat-faced, and almost entirely hairless. Some might even call her "human."

Though her origins have always nagged at the back of her mind, her top priority is to fit in with her adopted family. So, when she is finally given a chance to prove herself as one of them, she sets off on a month-long journey to a faraway land. However, her hopes of earning respect among her people are thrown off course when she runs into two members of a fearsome warrior race called the R'caesa, who uproot her plans and force her to follow them back to their military base.

She also meets a mysterious slave whom they call "the shadow" during this time. They say that it is the last of its kind, and that its people were eradicated years ago after they allegedly betrayed the R'caesan emperor. Norra's only hope of continuing her rite of passage lies in her plans of escape, but she can't help but feel sympathy for the shadow.

My Best Friend's Boyfriend is a Werewolf - EXO by Luzel_hime
100 parts Complete
Running. That is all that I have been doing ever since I discovered his secret. Running and hiding from that man who wants to use me for his personal motives. My name is Florence Khan and up until now I'm still running, still hiding. This cat and mouse game I play with that man has led me to South Korea. The Land of the Morning Calm. But calm is not in my mind as I stubbornly glare up into the eyes of this boy who claims that he is a werewolf. I was raised to believe in facts and numbers, in science, and obviously werewloves don't belong in it. They belong in fairy tales which I also don't believe in. I won't believe him even if his eyes were glowing red, his blonde hair glistening and body trembling with a force I can't explain. I don't believe him. I don't believe my best friend when she told me that boy and her boyfriend are werewolves. There are no werewolves. Twilight is not real. Lycans, mermaids and all the stuff about mystic creatures are not real. Something is wrong. I can help - but I need to keep on running. I need to keep hiding. Can I run and leave the people I have come to consider as friends? How can I leave my best friend? How can I leave her boyfriend who needs my help? How will I ever leave him? (My continuation of the super cliffhanger that is EXO's Wolf and Growl drama. Please watch it before reading so you'll get to understand that story. hope you'll enjoy!!^^ Kudos to @blackwingzkises for the debak coverphoto.. ‶Get out of my sight before I do something I'll regret!″ the eldest shouted, his voice laced with fury. ‶I will. But I'm taking her with me,″ his younger brother replied, his expression unwavering. ‶Don't you dare come near her! She won't end up like you!″ the eldest retorted, his eyes ablaze with anger. Amidst their yelling match, a young girl sat under the table, her eyes overflowing with tears and head throbbing uncontrollably. Her family had always been an unconventional one, but that day marked its transition from unconventional to unhappy. ************************* Miles apart, a young boy looked at the star marred sky with twinkling eyes. As the shooting star made its appearance, he closed his eyes and prayed for the one thing he craved for the most. 'A happy family.' ‶What did you wish for?″ a manly voice interrupted him. ‶Death.″
