"Why are you doing this, Buck?" Eddie demanded and Buck huffed irritated. "I'm protecting myself, okay? I want you to do what you need to do, Christopher needs you. So I'm removing myself from the picture so I can get used to it," he snapped, Eddie blinking surprised.

"Buck, we would still be here for you," he said and Buck shook his head. "That's what Abby said, Eddie. That's what Maddie said. And every time, it was a lie. And I'm getting so fucking sick of the people I love leaving me. Because I'm not enough for anyone to want to stay. So leave, okay? Just- go," Buck snapped, looking away so Eddie wouldn't see him cry.

Eddie's moving to Texas. It's all that Buck can think about. But he's going to support his best friend, right? So he plasters a smile on and encourages him. 

Unfortunately Eddie knows Buck too well.
