As I entered the dusty library, the scent of aged paper crackled with anticipation. I still remember that fateful day when our curiosity led Meka and I here. We thought it was just an old relic, but we were so wrong. My fingers brushed over forgotten titles until one caught my eye: "Whispers from the Shadows" The thrill of opening the book came rushing back, along with the chaos that ensued-books flying off shelves, shadows flickering, and Meka's terrified gasp still echoing in my mind. A chill ran down my spine as I recalled what they had unleashed. We had awakened something waiting for a brave soul to listen, something far darker than any story. Now, a "blast" to the past.

This is just based on an essay I had to do to for school, but I thought it would be a good book. -author Avery
