"Neither do they," Minwoo replied. "The people you're keeping here... they don't belong in this place either."

Jinseok's jaw tightened, his features shadowed by the fractured light. "You still don't get it, do you? They're here because they have nowhere else to go. This place is all they have."

"And you?" Minwoo asked, his voice steady. "What do you have, Jinseok?"

The question struck like a blow, and for a moment, Jinseok didn't respond. His sharp gaze locked onto Minwoo's, the weight of his silence enough to make the air between them feel heavy.

"You think this is about me?" Jinseok said finally.

The tension between them was immediate, the air thick with something unspoken.

"You think you can save them?" Jinseok asked. "You can't even save yourself."

"Maybe not," Minwoo said, his voice calm but edged with defiance. "But at least I'm not afraid to try."
