Malice

This is the second story of a collection of stories (I haven't posted the first story yet) about knights and mages that face trials that will often lead them going down dark paths, all stories occur within the same world.

This story follows a character named Yonis a mage more unique then anybody else of this world, he has the power to curse other mages and force the recently deceased to do his bidding, something not seen in centuries, almost forgotten.

As the story begins Yonis is a mercenary working a bodyguard mission for the princess of a desert kingdom with two others. He's been put on this mission by the closest thing he has to a father the Warden of the big city Ariel (also the main villian of the first story.) Yonis is desperate to keep his powers secret, even his close allies don't know what he's truly capable of

P.s: something I don't mention, he needs negative emotions directed toward him or a large amount in the area around him for him to be able to summon his sickle. Cutting somebody once will inflict a curse upon them in the next two hours, cutting somebody three times, makes a curse take hold instantly.
