I remember the cold, damp floors of our apartment. The incessant squeaking of rats, the stench of decay. It was in this environment that my obsession was born. I would spend hours dissecting the rodents, their tiny bodies a canvas for my curiosity. I'd sew their limbs back on in brutal positions, breathe life into inanimate objects. A hobby, a pleasure. The line between creator and destroyer blurred. I was both God and Devil, giving life and taking it away.

It was November 21st. The weather was foggy, one could say even gloomy. Especially to the eyes of the young child who looked outside of his house's door. His clothes were damaged and nearly torn apart. The stink of fresh blood coming from the inside of his house. The earsplitting sounds of the police sirens from the distance. Yes... That was indeed a gloomy day. WARNING : • This book has violent content that may trigger some people
