Summary

"You know what, naiirita na ako kay Robles. Puro lang pa-cute alam niya. Is that all that she ever does in her life?"
Aiah looks up from her notebook, an eyebrow raised. After a few more seconds of silence, Mikha raises a brow back at her.

"What?"

Mikha really does not like the smirk that's starting to form on Aiah's lips- doesn't like how Aiah leans closer to her as if she's about to say the most ridiculous thing ever.

"So, cute si Robles to you?"

The pencil falls from Mikha's hand. Her face turns as red as her hair as she stares at her best friend with eyes as round as the pancakes she makes for herself every morning.

"HA? ANO?"

Mikha Lim hates Jhoanna Robles, and Jhoanna probably hates Mikha too. That's really all there should've been to them.

Keyword: should've.

A'ishah stood out in the vibrant city of Manila, not just because she was new, but because her calm demeanor suggests that her poise and serenity are so exceptional that they seem almost too perfect for this world, giving her an almost magical, out of this world beauty. Fresh from London, she moved to the Philippines to take care of her mother, a woman broken by her own husband and now clinging to A'ishah for emotional support. Despite her mother's demands and the weight of these expectations, A'ishah remained a picture of grace and composure. But underneath her serene exterior, A'ishah was struggling. She felt trapped in a cycle of trying to be perfect for her mother, while longing for the freedom to live her own life. It was a tough balancing act, made harder by her mother's relentless need for control. Despite feeling drained, A'ishah held on, buoyed by the love of her supportive best friend who always got her back, Nicole. Nicole is A'ishah's childhood best friend, who was more like a sister and a role model for her. Nicole introduced A'ishah to her circle of friends, and that's when things began to change. These new friends brought warmth and laughter into A'ishah's life, especially Maxine, who was her complete opposite: lovely, chatty, and full of care. Maxine was like a burst of sunshine in A'ishah's previously gloomy world. With each day, A'ishah found herself looking forward to spending time with her new friends. They were helping her rediscover joy and giving her a glimpse of a happier, more fulfilling life. For the first time in a while, she felt like she was on the path to not just surviving but truly living. But everything has an end. An end for all the pain she's going through. But also an end for everything she started to love too. But how can she be selfish? Should she choose the chance to fix their family and leave the life she grew to love with Maxine, or... Just stay. Stay and... work things out.

Maraiah Queen Arceta known as Aiah, a centuries-old vampire, hides behind the perfect facade of a cold, intimidating student council president in her senior high school class. Determined to live a normal life among humans, she buries her true nature behind sharp stares and an untouchable demeanor. For years, she's kept her secret safe, her life a careful balance of solitude and control. Then you arrive, Bae Y/N. A transferee with no idea of the supernatural world lurking beneath the surface, you capture Aiah's attention in ways no one else ever has. Chosen by the moon and bound by fate, you unknowingly become the vixen destined to unravel her loneliness. At first, your interactions are rocky-her icy demeanor clashing with your warmth and curiosity. But as the days pass, walls begin to crumble. You find yourself drawn to the mystery behind her intimidating presence, oblivious to the darkness that lies beneath. And Aiah, despite her efforts to keep you at a distance, starts to question if a life of secrecy is worth living when it means pushing you away. As feelings grow and truths threaten to surface, you'll face a question neither of you is ready for: Can love truly bridge the gap between human and monster? Or will the truth shatter everything you've come to know.
