I could never find a reason why it happened! A devout Husband to his equally devoted and righteous Wife... a doting Father to his "My-father-is-my-Hero" worshipping Son... a happy family indeed... still it happened!
Lust!? Nope, certainly couldn't be the reason. Age and satiation level too appropriated and seasoned against it. Probably, ingrained trait of dutiful Devotion is the only plausible half-answer! Probably, an equal and opposite force of this very trait from the other side completes this to be an acceptable answer! Probably, it still doesn't!

It was during the Covid 19 lockdown phase 1, that I crafted "A Silent Coronach", my fifteen minutes smartphone short film. Non actors within family as Mother and Son, free music, household equipment, trial version software, and my limited knowledge in using the filming potential of Iphone7. Appreciation from two Indian film festivals in 2022 was persuasive to develop the story into a featured length film. The short story transformed into a contemplative journey of these two Women with the same Man in their lives, night upon his death. As they try and understand each other, bonded by common grief there develops a bonding, as a requiem to the dead and happiness to the living. Let a New Beginning speak thus! Happy Reading!
