Tempered glass is a type of safety glass that is chemically or thermally treated to be much stronger than regular glass. During the tempering process, the glass is heated to high temperatures and then rapidly cooled. This treatment increases the glass's strength by about four times compared to ordinary glass. As a result, tempered glass is highly resistant to impact, making it an ideal choice for broken glass door repair.
