This is the episode 7 s2 timeline with Jinx and Ekko. Spoiler warning for the updated series!!! If you haven't finished Arcane this might come across as a bunch of gibberish. But after watching the final episode I wanted to make myself feel better, lmao. Hope you guys enjoy it and I do the series some justice.

She/her reader. You are a young journalist from Zaun, working for The Piltover Globe. You witnessed the explosion of Jayce's lab from your friend's apartment. Your redaction board asks you to investigate on the matter, while the Academy tries to hide as much info as possible. But in a way or another, you meet Viktor, and a few things you did not even expect start to unravel. TW anxiety (mild but still)/death/mourning The "Fringes" idea is not mine, it comes from @Berserkitty and their wonderful fanfic "Undercity Development Section" (I'm sure you read it, if you haven't please do, it's fantastic). I imagine Y/N to be around 24/25, same age as Viktor in season 1 but that's purely personal projection, feel free to change that in your head ! Usual thing: English is not my first language and I tried to make the story as accessible as possible. After the battle with Noxus Jinx survives the fall ( letting go of Warwick entirely) but with damaging injuries. A doctor also suggests she be treated for all the shimmer in her system as well as the injuries to her head and spine. As you can imagine doctors and nurses, beside two, aren't all that fond of Jinx, you know with her being a terrorist and all. Her hospital days are spent mostly alone with frequent visits from Sevika, rare visits from Vi and even rarer visits from Ekko(who she definitely doesn't have a massive crush on). Will she find out why he's so distant. Does he really need her to be the other her? The powder that didn't hurt him? Well then find out what their dance is really about. I added tech that ISNT in their world like cars and phones and stuff. DISCLAIMER: the cover isn't mine, as well as the entirety of the arcane franchise, yet to decide if I want to add my own characters, I take no ownership of the ARCANE CHARACTERS, this is my first time writing fanfic, yet to decide if I should make a smut chapter, you guys can comment and let me know if smut should be added or not.
