Seit nun mehr zwei Jahren befinden sie sich auf einer Expeditions-Mission im Gamma-Quadranten, um habitable Planeten und Ressourcen ausfindig zu machen. Als ein ihnen unbekannter Planet von ihren Sensoren erfasst wird, sticht eins sofort ins Auge: Eis.

Der schneeweiße Planet ist komplett von Eis überzogen und scheint nicht mehr, als ein Ödland zu sein.
