Her whole life Katherine never knew the meaning of love. But one day Jacob Black comes into the picture. She leaves her job and buys a house in La Push so she could be near him. Two problems, he imprinted on her but wishes he hadn't. Two, he abuses and hits her whenever he gets angry.
Yet with all the cuts and bruises decorating her body, she still loves him. Enough to want to be with him no matter what. But what if one day she finds him with Bella, kissing her saying she was the only one for him. Will she leave him once and for all standing up for herself? Or will she given to the depression inside of her and attempt suicide?
