The West Road

He'd been on the road for nearly a year before the muddy country path brought Dane to Gildan. With time quickly running out, he searches desperately for an enchanted ring with the power to save his nation from the demons. Without it, they will kill whoever they choose.

On a rainy night, Dane finds a lost child and takes him back to his mother. Lindy is a widow, raising her son alone, but she shares shelter from the storm. Grateful for the return of her child, Lindy becomes a friend and Dane discovers that she holds the final clue to completing his quest.

Dane quickly realizes he's not the only one searching the countryside. Shekkar Demons have brought their deadly hunt to the village. Dane will do everything he can to protect Lindy and her son from the demon's poisoned claws.
