Cosmic Soldier

Loosely based on the game that started the Mon genre, with shin megami tensei being the trope maker/trope codifier.

In the Pegasus sector, a group of people called "the Cosmic Soldiers" had successfully prevented a plot within the moon of a gas giant (specifically, saving the ambassador from assassination). At the ship, they were put into hypersleep until they arrived at their destination. Only one soldier woke up to find that the ship is taken over by space pirates, and he is joined by an android that contained the ships AI.
