So before anything is said, it is important to note that this story is a spin-off of CrystalScherer's upon wings of change.  It is highly suggested that you read their story first before this one, but of course that is entirely up to you.

Everyone knows about the government kidnapping people and using them in experiments that utilizes alien technology which transforms them into little dragonets.  But what if there was more alien technology that was discovered elsewhere, technology which was quite different from that of the main project.

It appears some species felt that humans were inferior, and so brought the nations to their ship to see if that was true. It falls on them to assure their planet doesn't get obliterated from the alien's laser. The nations are given an opportunity to show the aliens they belong in the universe. But one nation proves too talented amongst his peers, and the aliens give him a choice. Either he dies with his planet, or he goes with them and the planet is saved. What will the HERO do?
