Angelo never understood the obsession with the Cullens. Sure, they were gorgeous, but they were also weird: never ate, flinched when touched, and conveniently vanished whenever the sun showed up. He had no interest in their secrets until Bella Swan arrived. Her presence pulled the Cullens out of their bubble, especially Edward toward Bella and Jasper toward him.

While Bella fell for Edward's brooding charm, Angelo dodged Jasper's cryptic conversations and hot-and-cold behavior like the plague. That is, until he was dragged into the supernatural mess and informed (much to his horror) that he might be Jasper Hale's soulmate... or clutch. Whatever the hell that meant.
