On Halloween night, 16-year-old Maddie and her friends head to a party an hour away from home, celebrating in the brand-new Mercedes her dad gave her when she got her license. After drinking too much, Maddie decides to drive herself home, while her friends find other rides. But her night takes a terrifying turn when she runs out of gas just a mile from a farmhouse. Desperate, she walks to that farmhouse, where a young man-no older than 23-answers the door, his face obscured by a Halloween mask.
