This was just a writing exercise I did at school bit was really proud of it and wanted to share it. we are studying a christmas carol so there is some lose inserpration from that. But otherwise enjoy!

This did start out as an OC, but you know, people want reader stories. I did it in first person POV, let me know and maybe I'll change it. Seems like everyone is obsessed with Y/N Dixon. It starts off with her friends in the house of Gryffindor, 3rd year. Someone at Hogwarts has been following her every move. Was it her best friend Harry Potter who was slowly falling in love with her, or someone else? Is it romantic.. or terrifying? My fan fic "A Christmas Carol Reimagined" is the tale of a miserly middle aged man--a friend to no one--who is scared into realizing the folly of his ways when he is visited by three ghosts (past, present, and future). He then vows to be compassionate toward his fellow man and through his good deeds, he redeems himself--and he comes to know the meaning of love. My story here is my "mash up" of "A Christmas Carol" (original story by Charles Dickens) with Elizabeth Gaskell's "North & South", JRR Tolkien's (via Sir Peter Jackson's films of) "The Hobbit", and is set in the 1850's.
