When tragedy strikes Gerard Way, he doesn't know how to cope. He turns to self destruction to take away the pain, getting more suicidal by the day. Enter Frank Iero, a witness to the event that is slowly destroying Gerard. Frank's unlike other people though. He's determined not to give up on the lost cause that is Gerard Way, instead he vows to give him something to live for.

Frank Iero is struggling with his battle against drugs and depression when he meets artist Gerard Way in a coffee shop. She stared at him in disgust as Frank giggled, "It's true, he owns pink tools," he pointed out before she rolled her eyes and stomped away. "The color of the tools doesn't impede their ability to be tools- wait why are you digging around in the closet?" Gerard asked as he waved the stirrer around. A comedic one, especially with his friend James, but an idiot. He once came to school high off his ass and passed his math exam with flying colors. It was a dumb move, but an entertaining one.
