Jules and his two children awaken in this mysterious world, unsure of how exactly they got here. Soon enough, Jules meets King Jervis Emerald. He finds out that he's in a place called The Emerald Kingdom, one of several kingdoms in Akkal. To gain the king's trust, and ensure the safety of him and his children, Jules comes up with a clever lie. He also agrees to help the kingdom on several projects. Turns out, he's really good at what he does and quickly becomes recognized. Next thing Jules knows, he has been invited to a party. But all is not well at the party and something will happen that will change his life forever.
Originally written in September 6, 2022 and published on my website. This story is a prequel to the Jarry's Adventure universe and takes place a decade before the first novel. This short story also develops the characters of Dr. Jules Alexander, Michael Alexander, Lauraine Alexander, Dr. Vallon Liam, King Komoran, and more.
