Sri Ramadasu Keertanalu and Story

Story of Sri Ramadasu
Sri Ramadasu, also known as Kancharla Gopanna, was a 17th-century devotee and composer of Carnatic music, renowned for his unwavering devotion to Lord Rama. Born in Nelakondapalli, Telangana, Gopanna worked as a tax collector (tahsildar) under the Qutb Shahi dynasty.

Moved by his deep devotion, Gopanna resolved to construct a temple for Lord Rama at Bhadrachalam. Using public funds collected as taxes, he undertook the temple's construction. However, this act of faith led to his imprisonment by the king for misappropriation of funds. Despite years of imprisonment, Gopanna composed heartfelt keertanas (songs) expressing his devotion, surrender, and pleas to Lord Rama.

Legend has it that Lord Rama himself repaid the embezzled money to the king, leading to Gopanna's release. Following this miracle, he was called Ramadasu (Servant of Rama).

Themes in Sri Ramadasu Keertanalu
Devotion: Most keertanas express Gopanna's love and dedication to Lord Rama.
Suffering and Redemption: His time in prison inspired many songs seeking Rama's mercy.
Philosophical Reflections: His works explore the essence of bhakti (devotion), dharma, and divine grace.

Sri Krishna is the beloved Boatman who untiringly plies His Boat of Consciousness between our unparalleled thoughts and his unrivalled spirituality. For our Kanha, the Gita is his Heart, his Vision, his Fulfilment. For us, the Gita is humanity's breath, its journey towards Moksh Prapti. Madhav's melodious flute stirs the universal consciousness and enchants the transcendental consciousness. Dwarkadheesh is the shoreless ocean of bliss. But as soon as we sincerely dedicate ourselves in service of his Lotus feet, he presents us with his own boat and takes us to the boundless Shore, just like his Ardhangini, the golden of all. It would be an understatement to describe Lakshmipati, the supreme god head with these few little words. But Devkinandan would never decline his devotees' sweet offerings. Even the smallest, selfless act of love would be enough to engulf our Prathsarthy in an embrace of gratitude. And thats the reason, we have done a small yet dedicated attempt to pour down our thoughts, our heartfelt messages , giving another aspect to the events casued by the famous, yet infamous warfare of Mahabharat. From Madhav to RukminiVallabh And from Govind to Banke Bhihari, Krishna Kathaa contains the characters mentioned in Shrimad Bhadwad, wishing Trilokinath on the auspicious occasion of Janmasthami and turning the pages of history only to retell the intersting story behind the names our darling of Vrindavan had accquired during his time on mrityu lok.

When Ayodhya turns its back on her, Sita does the one thing no queen before her has dared: she walks away. But the gods aren't done with her yet. The moment she crosses into the wilds, she hears it-Lanka still calls her name. The kingdom her so-called husband burned to the ground. The throne Ravana died protecting. Uruvi, a golden hearted Princess of Pukeya, tried hard to change her destiny. She did not want to be married to anyone but unwantedly she befriended with two arch enemy Arjuna and Karna. One became her brother while another her husband. She tried to reconcile both of them with their wives, Arjuna with Chitrangada and Karna with Supriya. But would this big devotee and friend of Lord Krishna be sucessful in her endeavour? With whom her own destiny was then written? Who would be her friends and foes? Would she be loved and adored by all? Why Yuddhisthir loved her as his own sister? Why Duryodhan considered her as his friend and advisor? Why had wise Bhism considered her as as his own granddaughter? Could she convince Kunti to declare Karna as her first-born? Could she stop the great blood thirsty war of Mahabharata? Or would she also perish in this great blood thirsty battle along with her husband and sons? However Uruvi was not a well known as Karna Sangini. Mostly only one Karna's wife had been depicted. Some named her as Vrushali and some Padmavati. In the Ved Vyas Mahabharata the wife of Karna was only named as Karna-Sangini. Most would tell that the story of Uruvi was just a folklore and mentioned only in the scripts of South India. So kindly remember that fact before reading my book. She was Shankar Putri and Foster daughter of Bhumi Devi or mother earth. This is my original unpublished story and purely fan fiction and imaginative. It is copyrighted by only me. Nowhere except here it was published ever. It was not taken from any serial or book. It is part of my imagination. I don't want to hurt anyone's religious beliefs, feelings or sentiments. Her hair, a cascade of raven waves, flows like the ocean's endless rhythm, each strand mirroring the ebb and flow of the sea she was born from. Her eyes, the most enchanting shade of seafoam green, hold the mystery of the deepest waters - calm yet fathomless, gentle yet fierce. When she smiles, it is as if the world itself is bathed in light, the sun rising from behind a darkened sky. Even the hardest of icebergs would melt in the warmth of her gaze. Her presence is a symphony of nature itself, a reflection of the oceans, the winds, and the skies - beautiful, powerful, and unyielding. She was Padmaja, the princess of the Trivandhya alliance, born of land and sea, the youngest of the great Trivandhya empire. She was the princess of Saurashtra, her roots deep in the soil of the sacred land, yet her heart belonged to the boundless waves. She was Mahalakshmi herself, the eternal consort of Krishna, born of the lotus and the ocean, of grace and strength. She was the one who shared his burdens, who wiped his tears and lent him a shoulder to lean on when the weight of the world became too heavy. The divine protector, the guiding hand for those who faltered, Padmaja was the mother goddess of the universe, the Sarva Swamini - the all-mother, the one who embraced all in her arms, offering love, protection, and wisdom. To the Pandavas, she was not just a figure of power but their savior, their guide, and their unwavering protector. She was the strength that bolstered their resolve and the heart that healed their wounds. She was the embodiment of compassion and power, the very force that balanced the cosmos. In her, the world found solace, in her, the divine found its purpose. She was the dawn, the moonlit night, the sun's warmth - both the protector and the protector's light. And no matter the storm, no matter the darkness that loomed, Padmaja, the princess of land and sea, would always rise - a beacon of hope, an eternal mother to all.
