Love or Fate

Chai Rose Mo, a 15-year-old singer and songwriter, comes from an influential family in the music industry. Of Japanese, Korean, American, and English descent, she is the heir to two powerful agencies: HYBE, led by her mother, and an acting agency run by her father. Chai is a member of the group LE SSERAFIM, alongside Kim Chaewon, Hong Eunchae, Kazuha Nakamura, and Minnie. However, despite her successful career, she harbors a secret: she is in love with Minji, the singer from NewJeans, who is three years older than her.

This situation is complicated by the fact that her twin brother, Kai, also has feelings for Minju, Minji's twin brother. Although Chai and Minji are close, their relationship is hindered by the strict expectations of their mother, who disapproves of the relationship due to the age gap and social differences.

One evening, after an intimate moment with Minji, Chai is overwhelmed and panicked by her feelings, prompting her to flee South Korea. She abandons her career, her group, her family, and her fans to seek refuge in Australia, where she begins working at her father's agency. Kai, in a similar situation after an affair with Minju, decides to join her.

Three years later, Chai returns to Korea for an unknown reason, confronting her demons and unresolved feelings while navigating the complex dynamics of her family, romantic relationships, and career.
